DESCRIPTION
South Shore Community Service Association (Bonny Lea Farm) began the first phase of a multi-stage deep energy retrofit to modernize and decarbonize its campus while improving comfort for residents. This phase focused on increasing the efficiency of heating systems across the main program building and all residential quarters, laying the groundwork for a full transition away from fossil-fuel-based heating. By upgrading core building systems and preparing for future electrification measures, the project set the foundation for long-term emissions reductions and a healthier, more comfortable living environment for the Bonny Lea Farm community.
