DESCRIPTION

The Belliveau Cove Development Commission restored and improved its well-used community walking trail after major storm damage washed out key sections. The work included relocating vulnerable low-lying portions of the trail to higher ground, rebuilding and reinforcing bridge structures to better withstand future storm surges, and installing a new accessible restroom. These upgrades enhance the trail’s climate resilience while preserving an important recreational space that supports community well-being and year-round outdoor activity.
