Building Capacity Around Climate Change Preparedness in African Nova Scotian Communities

ENRICH, in partnership with MakeWay Charitable Society, built capacity in 12 African Nova Scotian communities to strengthen climate resilience through workshops and training sessions. Working with partners such as Inspiring Communities and CLIMAtlantic, the project provided practical tools, leadership development opportunities, and community‑focused resources to support local adaptation planning. The work produced policy briefs and fact sheets, hosted community events, and will continue to support African Nova Scotian communities in advancing climate preparedness.
