DESCRIPTION

The Municipality of the County of Kings is installing a network of electric-vehicle charging stations at six locations to support the transition of its municipal fleet to low-carbon vehicles and expand public access to EV charging. Several stations will also integrate renewable energy sources such as wind or solar power, along with energy storage systems, to reduce emissions and improve resilience during outages caused by extreme weather. The project strengthens the Municipality’s long-term climate goals by building the infrastructure needed for cleaner transportation and more reliable, sustainable energy options.
